Helping students to survive A Level results day with #ResultsDayLove.
#ResultsDayLove was a three-month content, outreach and social media campaign targeting A level students across the UK, as well as their parents and teachers, in the run up to results day on 17 August 2017.
Using newly commissioned research to inform our narratives, we produced news stories and multi-channel content – including live interviews, written advice articles and infographic heat maps. By actively encouraging messages of support from bloggers, vloggers and media personalities, as well education institutions, businesses and sports teams, the #ResultsDayLove campaign helped increase The Student Room’s social media activity by nearly 10%, a three-fold increase on their average growth. It also provided the website with a 25% increase in sessions during August.
Our campaign achieved 22 national and four broadcast features, with widespread media interest from the BBC to The Times and Guardian. Advice features were published in The Huffington Post and Evening Standard, and live interviews were secured on BBC Radio 1, 4 and 5Live and ITV.
