Using the joy of dance to engage Brighton residents in The Dance Space.
The Dance Space is a cutting edge new culture venue for Brighton as part of the new Circus Street development. South East Dance, the team behind the project, has launched The Welcome Project community engagement initiative. The project will deliver a programme of workshops, classes and artists residencies to encourage Brighton residents to get active and enjoy the health benefits of dancing ahead of the opening of The Dance Space in early 2020.
We are working closely with the local media to spread the word of The Welcome Project, including producing press releases and opinion pieces.
In addition to this work, we are also increasing the profile of the Space to Dance fundraising campaign, as well as South East Dance’s various community projects and performance programmes.
