Building the brand profile of the UK’s fastest growing online accountancy firm
Since its inception in 2009, Crunch Accounting has transformed from a regional tech startup into the UK’s fastest growing online accountancy firm, currently employing 170 staff servicing over 9,000 clients.
For the past five years, we have been tasked with building Crunch’s brand profile, as it evolves from a single product digital accountancy firm into a consumer-facing brand helping more people to become their own boss.
Some of our core work has included:
Reaching audience segments with tailored, creative content campaigns, focusing on themes such as ‘Get Started’ and ‘Women in Business’.
Profile building for key spokespeople, CEO Darren Fell and Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Jason Kitcat.
Promoting the pipeline of new product launches within the Crunch online Marketplace.
Building a press office to put Crunch at the forefront of the debate on self-employment and the opportunities and challenges of new gig economy.
Developing successful award entries to build the reputation of Crunch as a rapidly growing fintech brand. Last year, they were shortlisted for 15 awards, with wins including New Practitioner of the Year at the British Accountancy Awards, Professional Service firm of the year at the British Small Business Awards and Sussex businessperson of the year.
More than 375 editorial brand mentions were generated in targeted print and online media in 2016 alone. This created more than 1.04 billion opportunities to see, 16k social shares, and coverage on sites ranging from The Telegraph, The Sun and Red magazine, to The Guardian, Director and Forbes.
“I want absolutely nobody to know about Fugu so I can have them completely to myself. Sssh!”
Entrepreneur Darren Fell, Crunch founder and CEO
