Driving industry awareness for the UK’s leading exhibition and conference for sustainable business
Sustainability Live, part of the Faversham House events portfolio, is the industry’s leading energy and sustainability management exhibition for UK businesses.
In 2015 the long running event was on the verge of a massive brand overhaul and Fugu was engaged to manage two separate communication tasks. The first, to raise awareness and drive footfall for the 2015 show and the second to develop messaging for the complete brand’s transition into its new title, edie 2016.
The six-month campaign aimed to drive awareness amongst key industry sectors, whilst promoting specific event features to certain job roles. These audiences were reached by generating coverage in a core media list of trade magazines, websites and news sources.
Campaign activities included liaising with event speakers, exhibitors and show organisers to develop a series of press announcements. We also pitched and produced dedicated copy for magazine previews, features and opinion pieces, as well as running a dedicated press office on site.
The results surpassed all campaign targets, with more than 112 pieces of coverage produced, including 30 event previews and coverage in key target media including Retail Week and FM World.
The Sustainability Live campaign ran closely alongside the event’s social media campaign and the co-located launch exhibition Utility Week Live.
