Make Your Mark – generating buzz around online film campaign using the NVIDIA Shield tablet
For two decades, NVIDIA (inventor of the GPU Graphics cards for PC gaming, mobile gaming, cloud gaming, virtual computing, plus more) has pioneered visual computing and the art and science of computer graphics. The NVIDIA Shield tablet was the focus of this campaign, it features DirectStylus technology, which allows smooth lines and strokes to flow seamlessly from hand to tablet.
The Make Your Mark campaign, created and produced by brand experience agency FreeState, aims to make visible the creative potential for illustration, graphics and animation of the NVIDIA Shield tablet. Make Your Mark invited 10 artists from around the world to make their mark by producing three illustrations, inspired by Isaac Asimov’s I, Robot, on the NVIDIA Shield tablet. Their journeys were made into a series of short films to encourage creative exchange and inspire the artistic dabbler in all of us.
Fugu was brought in to work closely with FreeState to generate ‘buzz’, interest and excitement in the content created by the artists on the NVIDIA Shield tablet. Results included content being shared by leading technology, digitals arts and gaming websites and their social media channels (eg. PocketLink, 3D Total, VideoGamer.com) which generated more than 20k YouTube views.
