Content production and project management for the world’s first national standards body

Formed in 1901, BSI is the UK’s national standards body. It was the first organisation of its kind and now helps organizations in 182 countries embed excellence into the way people and products work.

A standard is an agreed way of doing something. It could be about making a product, managing a process, delivering a service or supplying materials. Standards help ensure everybody in an industry is working in the same way, or manufacturing to identical best practises. They are critical for global trade and supply chain efficiency.

Fugu is working with BSI to develop and author content for a series of international reports, designed to promote the organization in strategic national and vertical markets. Reports published so far have included titles focusing on the USA, Brazil and Chile, as well as specific industry sectors such as automotive, aerospace and energy.

Each report references key economic trends and technologies, relevant to the region or industry in question. Fugu undertook research to gather relevant contextual material, and worked with BSI experts to include key messaging and technical information.

Once a plan and layout was agreed for each report, we then drafted all copy and project managed the design process from initial layout to print and publishing – including researching and producing several bespoke infographic elements.
