Ten Sussex primary school children are celebrating winning a share of 5,000 books for their schools following World of Books’ hugely successful ‘Get Lost in a Book’ competition.
The competition, which launched on World Book Day, aimed to encourage primary school children to celebrate their joy of reading. Primary school children across Sussex were invited to draw or write themselves in to their favourite story for the chance to win a share of 5,000 books for their school.
We worked closely with World of Books to launch the campaign, which included regional advertising with Heart Radio (Sussex). The campaign generated 23 pieces of local press coverage, and the competition received over 350 entries from primary schools across Sussex.
